Corporate and private commissions by Artist Lena Khomoutova
Lena has done more then 100 art commissions, including hockey scenes,
landscapes, Ottawa scenes, wedding day portraits,
pet's portraits, horses and many
others. Lena is doing it with all her heart because her arm is a realization
of people's dreams in the art works. All her commissions were greatly received
and only once it was some confusion. Lena was asked to paint portrait of old
couple younger then on photographs by removing all face wrinkles. When they
received the portrait they were glad to see their parents younger. However they
asked Lena to put wrinkles back on the father's face, because they wanted their
mother to be younger then their father. It was done sucessfully.

several old
photographs.

photographs including
black and white ones to put all family together like many years ago.

Title: Gift based on Rembrandt van Rijn's
painting "Self portrait with Saskia".

Size: 30"x40" (762 x 1016 mm).
This painting was created as a birthday gift.
The gift was based on Rembrandt van Rijn's painting
"Self portrait with Saskia", alternative title: "The Prodigal Son With
A Whore", 1635, Oil on canvas, 63 3/8 x 51 1/2 inches.
New faces were painted from the several
photos.
New modern house framed painting was also added to the upper
corner of the painting.
It was fantastic and pleasant surprise gift.

Title: Victorian Village.

This painting was commissioned by customer to present it as a gift.
Special requirements: customer provided photos of kids and a dog,
journals with Victorian time dresses and carriage.

Title: Holliday Season.
Medium: oil on stretched canvas,
Size: 18"x24" (457 x 610 mm)
This painting was commissioned by customer to present it as a Wedding Day gift.
Special requirements:
Artist was asked to paint customer's house during Christmas time using summer
time photos of the house. Some trees in front of the house were removed.
7 candles had to be in the window for a good luck, the customer's dog near the
entrance of the house, and two Christmas trees in 2 main level windows.
Customer supplied several photographs and electronic images of dog and the
house and Lena was very happy to paint this joyful scene.
When the painting was ready, Lena submitted the image to Publi-Tact printing
company for a greeting card reproduction. Usually selection process takes
several months, but in this particular case it was done overnight.
Customer got the painting that was intended for a wedding present, and some
time later 77 greeting cards with the painting on them, signed by the artist.

Title: Hockey Passion

This painting was commissioned by CARHA Hockey in 2008 and dedicated
to 2008 CARHA Hockey World Cup tournament and Quebec City's 400th
anniversary.
Special requirements: players have to wear CARHA and
Original Six teams jerseys: Montreal Canadians, Toronto Maple Leafs,
New York Rangers, Deitroit Red Wings, Boston Bruins and Chicago
Blackbuwks as well as CCM & RBK helmets. Background is Quebec City.
Fine art giclee prints from the painting are also
available.

Title: Magic of Hockey

This painting was commissioned by Ottawa Senators Hockey Club in 1998.
In 1998 Lena was an official artist for The Ottawa Senators Hockey Club.
They published 9,899 lithographs of her artwork. According a contract all
hockey players of Ottawa Senators Hockey team signed just one print for
Lena and now she put it on sale .

This painting was commissioned by Ottawa Citizen Newspaper in 1999.
On the painting you could see the following Ottawa Senators

Shawn McEachern #15, Wade Redden #6, Janne Laukkanen #27.

About Commissions
You are welcome to order a surprise portrait from several photos
or electronic images and
ask to paint smile from one photo, dress from another one and
any background of your choice.
It could be a great and pleasant surprise for someone very special.
You are welcome
to send your commission requirements to the artist.
Price of the commission depends on complexity of it, but in most cases it is
about 15% higher then price of regular paintings.
Usually it takes 1 or 2 months to paint it (but not in the end of the year).
Gift certificates are also available, just contact the artist.
Contact artist to get a commission apprisal and date when it will be ready.
All the images are very much alike but may not be true to original
painting color on your monitor.
